Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Gerald Adachi
Dr. Gerald Adachi is driven by a passion to bring you personalized and quality dental care. He has dedicated himself to pursuing the most advanced forms of treatment available, and remains at the forefront of the profession through his focus on continuing education.
He has served for over 30 years with the Hawai‘i Dental Association as part of the Continuing Education Committee and chair of the Dental Education Program, which plans programs and courses for dental professionals across Hawai‘i.
Dr. Adachi is a graduate of the University of Southern California and received his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. After completing his residency at St. Francis Hospital, Dr. Adachi began his own practice.

Dr. Adachi is the 2025 recipient of the Hawai‘i Dental Association Lifetime Achievement Award. This award recognizes an HDA member who has at least 30 years of membership, at least 15 years of volunteer service, and meets high ethical standards while achieving professional excellence.
Dr. Adachi is married to Rona and together they have raised two wonderful children, Daniel and Dana. In his spare time, Dr. Adachi enjoys cooking, kayak fishing, playing with his Havanese dogs, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Dana Adachi
Dr. Dana Adachi grew up in Honolulu, and is a graduate of ‘Iolani School and the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa. At the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry, she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, graduating Summa Cum Laude and in the top of her class. She was also inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Adachi continued on to complete her General Practice Residency at the University of Southern California, where she did her clinical training at the Los Angeles County + USC Medical Center and the Los Angeles Veterans Affairs Clinic.
Dr. Adachi’s dedication to excellence, passion for caring for her patients, and a strong sense of ethics and community are the foundation of her practice philosophy. She is a motivated clinician, who believes in the importance of providing her patients with the best, most comprehensive care possible. She is committed to enhancing her patients’ well-being and oral health, and strives to make each dental visit a positive and comfortable experience.

Dr. Max Uyeda
Dr. Max Uyeda is committed to providing thoughtful, high quality dental care with a focus on patient comfort and long-term oral health. He is a graduate of Kalani High School and the University of Hawaii at Mānoa, and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Dentistry. He then went on to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the Tibor Rubin Long Beach Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
During his advanced training, Dr. Uyeda gained extensive experience treating complex cases, with an emphasis on implant placement and restoration to replace missing teeth. He is passionate about using high quality materials and modern techniques to provide predictable, long-lasting results for his patients.
Dr. Uyeda’s approach to care is warm and reassuring, and he believes that clear communication and a comfortable environment are essential to building trust and helping patients feel at ease at every visit.
Out of the office, you can find Dr. Uyeda spending time with his family and two dogs, golfing, fishing, working out, and tending to his aquariums and pond.

Lea
Practice Administrator
When you walk into our Honolulu dental office, the smiling face greeting you will be Lea’s. As Practice Administrator, Lea keeps our office running smoothly. Lea is an excellent source to answer all of your questions regarding your dental insurance coverage and financial options. She also helps you comfortably fit your dental appointments into your busy schedule. Away from the office, Lea enjoys spending her time with family and cooking.
Jan
Hygiene Coordinator
Jan, our scheduling coordinator for the Hygiene Department, will greet you with aloha when you come into our dental office. She will review the coverage of your dental benefits and help provide you with all applicable insurance information. On a sunny day, you can find her out riding her motorcycle or enjoying time with her family and friends.
Michelle
Dental Hygienist
Michelle has earned her Associates of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene with distinctions from Indiana University. This is where she developed a strong foundation in dental science, preventive care, and patient education. She is a licensed dental hygienist, and is also educated in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy. With a genuine interest in helping patients understand and improve their oral health, Michelle strives to make a positive impact on the well-being of those she serves. In her free time, Michelle enjoys volleyball, salsa dancing, surfing, and hanging with her twin sister, partner, and kitty cat.
Khloe
Dental Hygienist
Khloe is a Registered Dental Hygienist with a passion for helping patients achieve optimal oral health through education, preventive care, and compassionate treatment. She is originally from Nebraska and has been enjoying life in Hawaii for 2 years. Khloe enjoys all things outdoors, the beach, and going on new adventures.
Madison
Dental Assistant
Madison moved to Hawai‘i in 2014 from Southern California. She has worked in Oral Surgery for 10 years, and is a certified Dental Assistant and Surgical Anesthesia Assistant. On her days off, Madison enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and son, cooking, reading, going to the beach, and being outdoors.
Kaleigh
Dental Assistant
Kaleigh grew up in a military family, moving every one to two years of her life. In 2019, her family relocated to Oahu and has not moved since. Kaleigh will be starting the Dental Hygiene Program at UH Manoa in the Fall. Her dream is to one day become a cosmetic dentist. Kaleigh’s favorite thing to do is travel. When she is not traveling, working, or doing school work, she is spending her time with her friends, shopping, going to the beach or out to eat.
Kessi
Dental Assistant
Born and raised in Hawai‘i, Kessi is a proud Punahou School alum whose academic journey has taken her from Coast to Coast. As a dental assistant, she enjoys connecting with patients and making them feel at ease. Kessi is in the process of applying to dental school and hopes to come back and practice dentistry in Hawai‘i. Outside of work, she finds joy and balance through yoga, surfing, pickleball, crocheting, reading, and cooking. Her daily adventures are made even more fun thanks to her two doggies: Megatron the pug and Bogey the Frenchie.
