Meet Our Doctors

Honolulu dentist, Dr. Gerald Adachi

Dr. Gerald Adachi, DMD

Dr. Gerald Adachi is driven by a passion to bring you personalized and quality dental care. He has dedicated himself to pursuing the most advanced forms of treatment available, and remains at the forefront of the profession through his focus on continuing education.

He has served for over 30 years with the Hawai‘i Dental Association as part of the Continuing Education Committee and chair of the Dental Education Program, which plans programs and courses for dental professionals across Hawai‘i.

Dr. Adachi is a graduate of the University of Southern California and received his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. After completing his residency at St. Francis Hospital, Dr. Adachi began his own practice.

Active in the dental community, Dr. Adachi maintains memberships in several prestigious professional organizations:

     American Dental Association

     Hawai‘i Dental Association

     Honolulu County Dental Society

     Fellow of Academy of Dentistry International

     Fellow of International College of Dentists

     Mentor of the Terry Tanaka Study Club

Dr. Adachi is married to Rona and together they have raised two wonderful children, Daniel and Dana. In his spare time, Dr. Adachi enjoys cooking, kayak fishing, playing with his Havanese dogs, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Dana Adachi, DDS

Dr. Dana Adachi grew up in Honolulu, and is a graduate of ‘Iolani School and the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa. At the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry, she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, graduating Summa Cum Laude and in the top of her class. She was also inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.

Dr. Adachi continued on to complete her General Practice Residency at the University of Southern California, where she did her clinical training at the Los Angeles County + USC Medical Center and the Los Angeles Veterans Affairs Clinic. 

Dr. Adachi’s dedication to excellence, passion for caring for her patients, and a strong sense of ethics and community are the foundation of her practice philosophy. She is a motivated clinician, who believes in the importance of providing her patients with the best, most comprehensive care possible. She is committed to enhancing her patients’ well-being and oral health, and strives to make each dental visit a positive and comfortable experience.

Practice Administrator

When you walk into our Honolulu dental office, the smiling face greeting you will be Lea’s. As Practice Administrator, Lea keeps our office running smoothly. Lea is an excellent source to answer all of your questions regarding your dental insurance coverage and financial options. She also helps you comfortably fit your dental appointments into your busy schedule. Away from the office, Lea enjoys spending her time with family and cooking.

Hygiene Coordinator

Jan, our scheduling coordinator for the Hygiene Department, will greet you with aloha when you come into our dental office. She will review the coverage of your dental benefits and help provide you with all applicable insurance information. On a sunny day, you can find her out riding her motorcycle or enjoying time with her family and friends.

Jessica

Dental Hygienist

Jessica was raised in Honolulu and graduated from the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa in 2014, with her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. She shares a true passion and love for dentistry with everyone she meets. Jessica enjoys interacting and helping her patients achieve a healthy, pearly white smile. In her free time, you can find her at the beach or on the softball field spending quality time with her family.

Lisa

Dental Hygienist

Lisa was born and raised in the Bay Area. She is one of five kids, and has always shown an interest in the dental field. Lisa’s father is a dentist in California and works along side her older sister, who is also in dentistry. Lisa graduated from the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa Dental Hygiene School and loves living near the ocean. If she is not in the dental office, you can find Lisa at the beach or on a hike with her two pups, son, daughter, and fiancé

Madison

Dental Assistant

Madison moved to Hawai‘i in 2014 from Southern California. She has worked in Oral Surgery for 10 years, and is a certified Dental Assistant and Surgical Anesthesia Assistant. On her days off, Madison enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and son, cooking, reading, going to the beach, and being outdoors.

Jacky

Dental Assistant

Jacky moved to Hawai‘i in June 2023, from the Bay Area in Northern California, where she was born and raised. She has been a dental assistant for over 5 years and enjoys making her patients feel heard and safe in the dental chair. Outside of dental assisting, Jacky enjoys cuddling with her two loving cats. She also enjoys painting, reading very dramatic love stories, and tanning at the beach. 

Alesia

Dental Assistant

Alesia was born and raised on the Big Island of Hawai‘i, and worked in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for 15 years. In her free time, Alesia enjoys visiting her family in Hilo, playing with her dog, Sweet Tea, and reading. 

Stephanie

Dental Assistant

Stephanie is a certified dental assistant. Her passion for dentistry began after a childhood accident resulted in her being in the dental chair for many hours. She wants to help others feel comfortable and calm in times of discomfort. Outside of dentistry, Stephanie enjoys yoga, hiking, and traveling.
